From Pordoi Pass, along the “Viel del Pan” path you can embark on a trekking adventure that will take you to Rifugio Fedaia. A medium difficulty, rewarding route, which is the perfect opportunity to enjoy an unparalleled view of Marmolada and the Dolomites.

Thanks to our strategic position, during the winter you can directly access the ski slopes that will take you to Malga Ciapela, then towards the Queen of the Marmolada, a ski slope of over 13 km, well-connected to Arabba for the Sellaronda circuit. The convenience of starting directly from the lodge means you can make the most of every moment on the snow and quickly return to your welcoming lodge after a day on the slopes.

In the summer months, the Dolomites transform into a paradise for mountain bike enthusiasts. With numerous trails starting directly from Rifugio Fedaia, you can explore spectacular landscapes on two wheels.

The rock faces of the Dolomites offer climbing challenges suitable for all levels of experience. You can choose, for example, between the stunning Ferrata Eterna dedicated to the Cadore Brigade or the Ferrata delle Trincee, a long and pleasant trail that combines majestic landscapes with the remains of the Great War. Rifugio Fedaia, with its strategic position, provides a convenient base for planning excursions and enjoying the spectacular climbing opportunities that the surrounding mountains offer.

A few minutes from our lodge, the ancient village of Sottoguda with its Serrai, awaits you with its historical and landscape beauties. A unique opportunity to immerse yourself in local history and discover centuries-old traditions. Want to explore the surrounding areas by car? A few km away you will find Andraz Castle, the Marmolada and Padon trenches linked to the First World War and the picturesque Fedaia Lake. In the surrounding area you can also visit Lake Alleghe, Canazei and venture onto the Giau, Sella, Falzarego and Valparola passes.
